The Physio Rooms offers physiotherapy services to patients who are partially or fully covered by The Department of Veteran Affairs. This level of cover depends on the individual, and what they are deemed eligible for.
At The Physio Rooms Woodvale, our practitioners are trained in professionally assessing your balance and risk of falls, and implementing a structured and progressive exercise program to reduce your risk of having a fall. This program is designed to improve balance.
We accept all referrals under the Medicare Enhanced Primary Care Plan. This must be arranged through your GP. Patient's eligible for the Medicare EPC Plan include those with chronic conditions and complex care needs, that have persisted or will persist for longer than six months.
Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) claims
If you have been injured in a Motor Vehicle Accident, physiotherapy can help with your recovery, including settling pain, restoring mobility and strength, and helping you get back to work and to living your life to the fullest. The Physio Rooms Woodvale accepts all MVA claims.

Our practitioners are trained and experienced at both assessing and diagnosing BPPV, as well as implementing treatment techniques. A common procedure to treat BPPV is "Epley's manoeuvre" - a manoeuvre that quickly repositions the head and assists in relocating the loose crystal.

Our female physiotherapist Ash has 8 years experience in working with women's health issues. Her areas of expertise include stress urinary incontinence, urgency, pelvic floor dysfunction, rectus abdominus diastasis following pregnancy, lower back and pelvic pain.
