What is dry needling?
Dry needling involves the application of fine acupuncture needles to soft tissue and is used in physiotherapy to assist with musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. Although traditional acupuncture is used in Chinese medicine, dry needling is applied to Western medicine and is evidence-based practice that has been used in physiotherapy for many years.
