WORKER'S COMPENSATION

What is involved in a worker's compensation claim?

If you have been injured in a workplace incident, physiotherapy can help with your recovery, including settling pain, restoring mobility and strength, and helping you get back to work and to living your life to the fullest.

The Physio Rooms Woodvale accepts all Workers Compensation Claims. We are extremely experienced in managing patients through workers compensation and have developed strong relationships with insurance case managers and GP’s to ensure that you get the best possible outcome.

What do I need?

To commence physiotherapy following a work place accident or injury, you will need to report the incident and submit a claim at work, obtain a referral for physiotherapy from your general practitioner and provide us with you claim number received from the insurance company.

What can physiotherapy provide for me?

From here, your physiotherapist will provide you with excellent guidance, advice and management of your injury, and help you to achieve optimal recovery. This may range from a number of manual therapy techniques, to a rehabilitative program to help you return to full function. This can include supervised hydrotherapy (exercise in a heated pool), clinical pilates and/or gym rehabilitative programs. Our expert treatment and management techniques are always based on the most recent evidence and research-based practice, ensuring you receive the best possible care.

Our physiotherapists are also excellent at keeping your GP, claim's officer, and any additional involved professionals up to date with specific treatment plans and progress during your recovery, ensuring the process moves forward as smoothly as possible.
