What is involved in an MVA claim?

What do I need?

To commence physiotherapy following a MVA, you will need to obtain a referral for physiotherapy from your general practitioner, and provide us with you claim number which you will have received from the Insurance Commission of Western Australia.

What will physiotherapy provide for me?

Your physiotherapist will provide you with excellent guidance, advice and management of your injury, and help you to achieve optimal recovery. This may range from a number of manual therapy techniques, to rehabilitative programs to help you return to full function. This may include supervised hydrotherapy (exercise in a heated pool), clinical pilates and/or gym rehabilitation programs. Our expert treatment and management techniques are always based on the most recent evidence and research-based practice, ensuring you receive the best possible care.

Our physiotherapists are also excellent at keeping your GP, claim's officer, and any additional involved professionals up to date with specific treatment plans and progress during your recovery, ensuring the process moves forward as smoothly as possible.
